Heather McPhail is the Senior Associate Director of Development Research at the University of Michigan, where she leads a team of research professionals and assists with fundraising strategy for a variety of areas throughout the university. Heather began her career as an urban planning consultant and worked on projects throughout Michigan for five years. She entered the world of fundraising in 2010, utilizing the skills she learned in working with government officials, land developers, architects, and the like, as well as providing strategic planning support to her clients. In her spare time, Heather enjoys spending time in Northern Michigan and cooking.
