About Us

The first FORUM was hosted by the University of Michigan in 2016 as a more affordable and more collaborative alternative to APRA events. It started with 11 peers in the immediate Great Lakes region and has grown to over 20 organizations, including a track for academic medical centers. 

 

We all agree that some of the best learning at conferences happens during the 'in between' moments of conversation with other attendees, so we try to focus our content on discussion rather than presentations. We expect a high level of participation from our attendees, both at the event and in the planning process.
